2012 Meyer Act 1 17”

A great saddle for a rider on a budget! Soft and supple French calfskin ensures a grippy ride and the narrow twist allows for a lovely close contact feel. A wide gullet channel provides excellent spinal clearance. Generous front and back blocks are present for rider for security. This saddle is lovely and is beautifully balanced and has a narrow twist. A low forward flap allows this flap to work for someone with a longer femur while maintaining contact with the horse. This saddle is a great option for a horse with a curvy back and wide shoulders.

Year: 2012

Brand: Meyer

Model: Act 1

Seat: 17” deeper seat (measures large as normal with this brand— it will still ride like a 17”, however)

Flap: 4 (fits like a 2NB in other brands, cutaway at the bottom for improved contact) measuring 13” from the top of the stirrup bar, down, and 13” across. The flaps are cut generously down by the knee, and work well for a rider who is long from hip to knee.

Panels: Broad panels with a very wide channel, good for a slightly curved, well-developed back

Leather: Grain/calf

Condition: Good overall condition with some areas wear. This saddle has some spider cracking and discoloration on the panels, and inconsistent finish/discoloration on the seat with some light spider cracking. The flaps are incredibly soft and supple!
